Root Canals are believed to be painful. If you have had dental treatment before, you know what to expect. If not, you will feel a sharp pinch at the beginning followed by a warm, tingly sensation of the anesthetic flowing into the injection site.
The key to a pain free root canal begins with the anesthesia. The current local anesthetics used work really well to prevent pain. Just today, I had a patient snoring in my chair.
